Garwood Borough promotes National Preparedness Month awareness.

Staff Report / garwoodLocal.org

The Garwood Borough Office of Emergency Management, led by Coordinator Ken Capobianco, is recognizing National Preparedness Month this September. The campaign serves as a reminder to individuals and communities to prepare for emergencies and disasters to ensure safety for themselves and their loved ones.

While resources and information can be accessed at any time on Ready.gov, this year's campaign is specifically focused on preparing Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities. The Ready Campaign's goal is to provide necessary tools for all individuals to be prepared for disasters and enhance resilience before facing any catastrophic event. For more information about disaster preparedness, visit www.ready.gov.
